MEG GIRY

Meg, the daughter of the Ballet Mistress, Mme. Giry, is a friend of Christine and used to dance with her when Christine still danced with the Ballet girls. She remained Christine's friend, even after Christine shot to fame.

MADAME GIRY

The mother of Meg Giry and Ballet Mistress of the Opera Populaire. She knows more than she lets on and does not dismiss the Phantom as a mere myth. She must have some connection with Erik as she know where he lives.

CARLOTTA GUIDICELLI

Christine's "rival" singer. Carlotta is conceited and stuck-up, but is also very jealous of Christine. She later gets her comeupance when Erik makes her croack on stage in front of a full house!

UBALDO PIANGI

The lead tenor at Paris Opera House, Piangi is old and overweight. During rehersals for "Don Juan Triumphant", we learn he is having trouble with Erik's score. He is later killed by the Punjab Lasso.

MONSIEUR FIRMIN

Joint manager of the Opera House with André, Firmin is the older of the pair. He tends to be more concerned about the money they are making than the well-being of his stars.

MONSIEUR ANDRÉ

Manager of the Opera House. Seems to care more about what happens to Christine and Co. Tends to be the more reasonable of the two. André is the unfortunate recipient of Carlotta's anger when she sees what has happened to Piangi at the end.
